What is image masking?

Image masking removes pixels thereby allowing transparency in an object. It is useful for isolating hair and, therefore, is very good for isolating people shots. Images that have been masked are supplied as floating layers on a transparent background, supplied as PSD files.

Our price for masking images is based on shots that have a plain background, free of texture or pattern. We can work on images with more distracting backgrounds, but at additional cost. This would be advised before proceeding with the job.
